This series explores a range of creative photography techniques — from long exposure and infrared to lensball experiments. It was a personal project centered on testing ideas, building skills, and pushing the boundaries of how I frame light, color, and movement.
Some of these photos were the result of trying techniques for the first time — like capturing star trails or zooming during a long exposure — without knowing if they’d work out. Others were more familiar experiments, like using a lensball to distort perspective or applying an infrared filter to shift the way a scene feels.
The photos were taken with a DSLR camera, and most of the editing was done in Lightroom.
Long Exposure
Light trails, star trails, and motion blur captured by slowing down time, including a few first attempts that turned into unexpected favorites.
Infrared
The photos were taken with an infrared filter to explore color beyond the visible spectrum, creating surreal, dreamlike landscapes with a unique mood.
Lensball
Experiments using a glass sphere to distort and flip scenes, playing with symmetry, refraction, and perspective.
